Braille Inscriptions

100 1032We produce a complete set of tools for embossing Braille inscriptions for both flat formats during die cutting and rotating devices during gluing on the folder-gluer machines.
The Braille embossing tools are made of metal. The aluminum female mold is mounted in the die-cut or on the rotation embossing wheel. The male mold is made of steel.

The benefits of using the steel plates:

-great durability (over one million punches)
-repeatability of the embossments -ultimate correctness of the embossed text (the dots do not fell of the plate)
-possibility to use the same plate for repeated jobs
-continued and steady work with the cutting machines

Flat Braille Inscriptions

100 1790The female mold is placed permanently in the die-cut. The location is determined by the designer. We produce standard molds with 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 lines, with an even length of 10, 12, 14, 16, 18 and 20 characters in one line. For a clear identification, each male mold is marked with a easy-readable text determined by the customer. The dimensions of the female molds are presented on the website: Braille flat molds. Positioning of the male molds is performed with special expansion sleeves, as we show on the pictures. Other sizes of male and female plates (i.e. an odd number of characters in line) are available upon request.
